Day Programs
Mindfulness
A day program would be a sort of hike through a hillock or any beautiful place in nature. The hike consists of not just soaking in the views but learning nature knowledge along with learning observation skills, and mindfulness.
Skills
As we walk we will bring in sensory experiences, teach about the plants and animals and typically end with a primitive(survival) skill such as processing plant fiber for rope, firemaking, soapstone carving, shelter building and more.
Games
As we move through the land, we will also teach fun games and exercises that enhance one's awareness, observation skills, sensory skills and naturalist skills of using your vision to scan the land, camouflaging abilities to hide, stalking skills to get close to animals, hearing skills to listen to any sounds and spot animals on the land and more skills that would all come together to make you a little more competent in the outdoors!
